The Daytonians: Stories of Heroes, Inventors and Tragedies

| $5.00This tour explores the lives of various Daytonians. Did you know that Jack “Johnny” Walker Jr. was a well-known Dayton television personality and businessman? That Margaret Mayo serve as a nurse during the Civil War. Whose collection of photography is in the Smithsonian? Who killed Delena Allman? Come hear stories about local heroes, inventors and lives touched by tragedy.
Meet at the back gate by the pond. Parking is available on the side of the road, please do not block the road. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a water bottle if needed. Tours will launch rain or shine, except in the event of thunder or lightning.
All tours require a reservation and there is a suggested $5 donation. All donations support the Woodland Arboretum Foundation which focuses on the restoration, preservation, horticultural and educational projects needed to keep Woodland a cultural resource for Dayton and Ohio.
