Per Woodland company policy, due to the corona-virus, all tours and events at Woodland are cancelled through May 9th. This includes community presentations at partnership locations.

Woodland is the final resting place of many of the nation’s most well-known inventors and innovators such as the inventors of flight Orville and Wilbur Wright, poet Paul Laurence Dunbar, writer Erma Bombeck, and entrepreneur George P. Huffman (Huffy Bicycles). We also have many other persons of interest such as Levi and Matilda Stanley, King and Queen of the Gypsies, George Newcom, one of Dayton’s founding fathers and Clement Vallandigham, the man without a country. Enjoy a presentation through time as you discover the timeless beauty and fascinating history of Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum.

The program is free and open to the public and will be held in the Wellington Community Room.
