Per Woodland company policy, due to the ongoing corona-virus, all community presentations at partnership locations have been canceled for 2020. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. Please be well and take care.

In 1932, Howard Burba, a writer for the Dayton Daily News, wrote articles on the history of Dayton. He stated that Dayton’s history could be laid out on a single newspaper sheet instead of volumes of books. To that end, he wrote “A Tabloid History of Dayton” in which he lays out the “first things” in Dayton. This program reviews those “first things” and shows their connections to Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum.

The program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Seating is limited. Please RSVP to Rhonda at 937-298-8084.
