In 1932, Howard Burba, a writer for the Dayton Daily News, wrote articles on the history of Dayton. He stated that Dayton’s history could be laid out on a single newspaper sheet instead of volumes of books. To that end, he wrote “A Tabloid History of Dayton” in which he lays out the “first things” in Dayton. This program reviews those “first things” and shows their connections to Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum.

This program is free and open to the public. It will be held at the Brookville Library at 120 Blue Pride Drive in Brookville. For more information, please call the library at 937-463-2665
