SUMMARY:A Tabloid History of Dayton program at The Wellington at Dayton
DESCRIPTION:In 1932\, Howard Burba\, a writer for the Dayton Daily News\, wrote articles on the history of Dayton. He stated that Dayton’s history could be laid out on a single newspaper sheet instead of volumes of books. To that end\, he wrote “A Tabloid History of Dayton” in which he lays out the “first things” in Dayton. This program reviews those “first things” and shows their connections to Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum. \nThe program is free and open to the public and will be held in the Wellington Community Room. \nThe Wellington at Dayton\n2656 W. Alex Bell Rd.\nDayton\, OH 45459
