SUMMARY:Fall Bird Walk
DESCRIPTION:Fall Bird Walk will be held October 12th at 9am at Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum. Your tour guide\, Jason Antonick\, will take you on a slow-paced walk through the grounds and identify different bird species. Whether you are looking for a Carolina Wren\, Black and White Warbler or a beautiful Cardinal\, bring your binoculars\, take a stroll and search our beautiful grounds. \nYour guide\, Jason Antonick\, started birding over 40 years ago as a kid taking Summer Lore classes at the Dayton Museum of Natural History (today known as the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery). One of his first programs was a birding class at Englewood MetroPark.  Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear a good pair of walking shoes. Do not forget your camera or binoculars! \nAll tours require a reservation and there is a suggested $5 donation. All donations support the Woodland Arboretum Foundation which focuses on the restoration\, preservation\, horticultural and educational projects needed to keep Woodland a cultural resource for Dayton and Ohio. The tour will meet at the Eichelberger Plaza at the main gates of the cemetery. \n
